On Björnö you live close to nature in 2-8 bed cottages. There are 40 beds but we also co-operate with another holiday village near by which gives us another 15 beds. All the cottages are beautifully situated on Björnö, 7 km from Västerås. You find country-side and wildlife outside your door and great possibilities for relaxation and recreation. There is also a restaurant, conference- and dining rooms for private use at Björnögården. We can offer a wide program of activities for example boat rental and adventure activities. We will of course help you find interesting things to see and do during your visit in Västmanland.

Granbo is our holiday village and it is situated on the northern part of the island. It has a sauna and pier and there is a beach 200 metres from the village. The smaller cottages have shared toilets and showers and there is a kitchen in a separate building. All the cottages have a fridge and a coffee machine.

One-room cottages with two proper beds. They are fully equipped for two people. There is no running water in the cottages but it can be fetched from the utility buildings.

A two-room cottage with a king sized bed and a bunk bed in the bedroom and two bed settees in the livingroom. There is a fireplace, a cooker, running water and kitchen equipment for eight people.

A three-bedroom cottage with a kitchen. Our most modern and well- equipped cottage with a large balcony with a lovely view over "Milliner". It has a king-sized bed and three bunk beds. There is a fireplace, large sofa, TV and dining area. The kitchen has a freezer, running water, cooker and kitchen equipment for 10 people. The cottage has its own shower and toilet. Adapted for disabled people.

 is easy to get to Björnö! You can walk, go by bus, car or boat. If you drive you can take Björnövägen all the way from the city of Västerås. You can also take the motorway (E18) and exit at "Hällamotet", turn immediately right towards the airport. Pass the airport and follow the road until it ends, keep left for Björnö. Another possibility is to take E18 and exit at "Talltorpsmotet". Follow the signs to Björnö. After the bridge there is information about the island. You find Granbo holiday village about 100 metres from the bridge on the right hand side. The reception at Björnögården is about 400 metres from the bridge.
